How this document is calculated
The tax template selects one rate for all lines, initially 0%; enter the applicable rate yourself. Switch to rates per line for mixed treatment. Taxes apply after line discounts and the proportional invoice discount. A 100% discount reduces the taxable amount to zero. Shipping in the separate field is added after tax: if your shipping must be taxed, enter it as a normal line instead. Optional tax identifiers are free text and are not checked against government registers. Use the VAT tool for separate arithmetic, and verify the rules that apply to your transaction.
Tax-exclusive prices. Amounts and discounts round half up to the currency’s smallest unit per line. The global discount is shared proportionally; line taxes round after discounts.
